Kipp presents the quintessential Cajun madman, almost stereotypical in his backwoods swamp thing savvy and skills. It's a role he actually relishes and embraces, both its advantages and flaws.

Kipp's understanding of the spirit world makes him hard to corrupt directly, but the Rage and long-standing blood feuds with both rival clans and enemies "of the state" may drive him over the edge. Only his love of family keeps him on the wrong side of the fence.
